Cheap and cheerful
If you are a golfer who needs a challenge then this course is not for you although it can catch out. It’s only nine holes on flat even ground with not much in the way of hazards apart from a couple of ponds. I like going here because the staff are excellent, the course is fun and it’s cheap. If you want a course to practice your new found skills Ora fun round of golf then I would not hesitate to recommend Manston golf course(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 97 Handicap: 28.5)

Course always in lovely condition, greens are excellent and can be tricky to read. The drainage is very good which makes this a true all year round venue. Also onsite are a large driving, short game practice area putting greens and a well stocked shop. Friendly and helpful staff complete the picture.

A great place to work on your game
From fairly modest ingredients the owners at Manston have fashioned a lovely place to work on your game. The range, with both mats and grass, always look well cared for; there?s a separate short game area that is better equipped than most and even a dinosaur-themed crazy golf area that's probably a great way to get little kids introduced to golf. The course is nice too - very flat and relatively straightforward, it has the benefit of being exceptionally well drained so is usually open all year round. A couple of cleverly placed water hazards keep things interesting and on a dry, windy day like the one I played the greens are like lightening which makes it a bit more of a test. Low handicappers will find it short and easy, but they, like players of all abilities, will still enjoy themselves, and be reallyImpressed with how spic and span and well thought out the whole centre is. The owners clearly care a lot about creating a good impression and it shows. Definitely worth a visit whether for a quick nine or a practice.

Excellent little 9 hole course that is ideal for the higher handicap player. Nice open fairways that if you miss won’t cause to much bother as it is very open. Fun course

Maria and her team do a great job and it is always a pleasure to play. The greens are in super condition and for anyone wanting to practice their short game you can do very well at Balaia.

This course is ideal for golfers who have just taken up the game ,its quite short and forgiving being flat and not too many hazards like dense trees and there are three ponds and a sprinkling of bunkers,also attached to the course is an excellent driving range and an adventure golf for children and adults ,all in all a very popular golf venue.
