Lovely course worth visiting
A lovely little course nestled in-between the houses and on top of the cliffs. Not too long, but perfectly formed with some challenging holes.
Very nice venue and worth the visit

Short course requires accuracy!
Although not the longest course, with a par of 64 and no par 5's, it is fairly compact and many of the holes require accurate tee shots to get to green in regulation. Being on the coast it is susceptible to winds which ass to the challenge. The course was in great condition - firm fairways and greens despite a very wet winter.
A decent little halfway house for a drink and snack at the 13th hole (though I didn't try anything).

pleasure to play
The course is short in distance but has tight fairways and small greens. The standard of the course is superb and the green keeper has made man subtle changes and improvement to make the course a great challenge. The drainage makes it playable al year round and always keeps its good condition. The course is extremely welcoming and all the staff are very friendly.Reviewer Rating

Great value
Old fashioned, straightforward and well maintained. It's not got thrills and spills and if you're playing well you should beat your handicap readily. However it's a very enjoyable short round with enough to think about to keep you engaged. There is a little field of par 3s at 15, 16, 17 thwt determine just howwellnyoubare going to score.Reviewer Rating

Marvellous with a quirkiness that's totally endearing.
Not very long (Par 64) but, if the wind is up, as difficult as any course.8 par threes. Ranging from 106 to 225 yards. Each throws up it's own problems.
Well maintained greens that were running really well.
Course is played in 4 stages. 1-3 in one field, 4 to 14 in another over the railway bridge, 15 to 17 in another field (all par threes) then back to the first field to play 18 and get into the wonderfully friendly clubhouse.
Officially been around since 1893 as W&B but there's a map in the clubhouse dated 1844. So they are clearly doing something right and breakfast was superb.

Disappointed
First, the positives: the welcome was friendly, the food excellent and the toilets sparkling clean.\\Now the negatives: the greens were scabby, the first cut off the fairways was unfairly tough and tangly, and the whole place seemed a bit run down. \\Although it is a short course, it is a fair test of your handicap. Just a shame that the overall experience was disappointingReviewer Rating
