What the club says: Seahouses Golf Course is one of the traditional Northumberland Golf Courses, with a standard scratch of 68 (70 ladies) which is seldom bettered. This Northumberland golf course boasts two of the most prestigious par threes in the north of England.
Founded in 1913 as a 9 hole course upgraded in 1976 to 18 holes, the course has hosted many Northumberland Golf County competition events over the years.

First 9 holes are very congested , but course in good condition ,, the back 9 holes wont find many better ,, the views are stunning and 2 holes

Great course
Great course with some stunning par threes. Can get a bit tight on some holes with crossovers, so play can get a bit disturbed. Best played when the course is quiet, especially if it's your first time. Well worth a visit though.Reviewer Rating

Great views shockingly slow

great course
My friend and I turned up on spec on a Saturday afternoon and although a shotgun start competition was starting later that day the guys at the course made room for us. the course it self was great, some very challenging holes and two of the best par 3`s I have ever played (the 15th over the water is incredible and worth playing just for that) it is also worth mentioning the price, £90 for the two us including the buggy was fantastic. If you ever find yourself in this part of the world I would recommend playing this lovely course.Reviewer Rating

Very enjoyable course. If you book at a later time the price is much cheaper. The locals are very friendly, and the club seems to not be unnecessarily harsh on etiquete and welcoming to beginners. Fantastic scenery on the back 9 and this part is much harder I found as there are lots more out of bounds, a good challenge.

new course
First time playing this course and I have to say it dissapointed me in that it was rather featureless on most of the holes.....the greens were okay but the pace of play was extremely slow and it didn't help that a 2 ball in front of me could have let me through, as a single player, on numerous occasions but chose not to(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 81 Handicap: 10.7)

Played Seahouses for the first time in a 4 man team open. Great welcome in the clubhouse and breakfast was spot on. Course was in great condition and will strugggle to play better par 3's anywhere. Only negative is that there are quite a few holes that share fairways and crossover (confusing at times) and i imagine that during busy periods this could be a nightmare.
Definitely worth a trip if you haven't played.

Not the longest course I have ever played. The course condition was excellent.
Some of the holes were very interesting especially the tenth “Logans Loch” and the fifteenth
“The Cove”
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We passed a few walkers on the course but they posed no great problem.
We got very lucky with the weather, all in all a great day out.

coarse in good condition, a links coarse with many holes crossing so you have to watch for wayward balls, club house very welcoming.

Played there on the 22nd Feb nice course left my new Cleveland wedge 17th handed in by green staff but stolen by somebody it didn\'t belong to won\'t be playing there again when I rang up to enquire staff were not interested!!

Played it for the first time on a twilight deal. Very good value. A little bit confusing find a few holes but, you get there in the end. Quirky holes on the back nine. Greens were in good nick. Would recommend. Very friendly staff.
