Superb greens
27 holes in 3 loops of 9, greens are always in great condition and fairways to, the only negative being the bunkers where the sand is not the best quality and some have too much sand and others with not enough. Very well stocked pro shop and club house and food and drink are excellent. Worth a visit.Reviewer Rating

lovely golf club
Played Garon Park over 2 days, playing a combination of the 3 main courses.Very impressed with the set up and condition of the courses, every hole was different, very challenging rough and best to keep on the fairways if possible

Avoid Horndon 9
We have played all three 9 hole courses in the last couple of weeks and Horndon is not a golf course for the first half innings of the course. Greens are unplayable in this section and it's little more than a field. There?s clearly a differential in time and money invested on this course with very visible differences from the covid safe equipment not rolled out into Horndon (but in the other two, to lack of bins (and rubbish being left in piles that weren't then collected), to no tee numbers, signs etc on this course. Shouldn't be offered as an equal alternative in its current state to the other two. We knew it wasn't as good but shocked at the lower class even the basics (I noted above) it is given.Would only play again the Other two courses which are fine. But will probably avoid for a while as I feel they have robbed us a bit this time with charging us money for something they aren't making sufficient investment into.
It should just be that those ?in the know? get

decent course
Played the east and west - preferred the eastrough was grown and very hard to get out of - greens very good and fairways decent
enjoyable course - could do with better signage though

Very well looked after course
Played after considerable rain but the course was largely in very good shape. The greens were absolutely first class. This course is generally so well looked after and lots of money has been invested back into the course. Not the most scenic or challenging course but very value for the money.(Round played: Dec 2020 - Score: 90 Handicap: 21.2)

Decent course but greens to slow
I'm hitting a bit longer nowadays and not just because of the parched fairways, seem to put my bigger clubs into the hazards. Greens far too slow, when most greens I now play on are fast so was difficult to readjust.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 93 Handicap: 17.4)
