Played the Baron course. Mostly wide fairways on parkland. Greens are poor with patchy grass. Hard to judge putts with mixture of grass types on same greens. Fringes of greens very poor with little grass and rock hard bare earth. Greens mostly flat with little contours.

Played this morning, 12/04/15 on the Baroness. The course is looking better every day. A lot of work has been done on the greens, they have improved massively. The fairways have also dried out, thanks to the lovely weather this last week, it's playing really well. I have also been informed all the buggies are soon to be replaced with new electric ones (not that I use them).

Shot an 85, handicap 15.

Played here in September last year & booked our society day here for June which is a really great deal.
The Baron course is good and a great challenge but I understand The Baroness is shorter & great for our society.
Food was good and well priced & staff were very friendly.
Well worth a visit.

The courses are good but the accommodation and facilities are a bit shabby and badly in need of a make-over. If you are only going to play a round and don't care about the bar, etc then it's fine. The bar food is pretty good

Given the fact that it's the start of summer, and England suffered a lot of flooding, the course is in fair condition.

I love this course as it give some challenging shots - for someone of my ability. One thing they do need to sort out are the bunkers! Other than that, a great course.

Thse 2 courses The Baron and the Baroness, are greatly improved this year 2012, and a lot of money is/ has benn spent on the club house, the changing rooms and the course, The bunkers have been refurbished on the Baron and are in play, The Baroness bunkers are undergoing refurbishment at the moment. Green fees have gone up this year but still represent very good value. Try both courses if you can, something for every golfing standard. Attracting a steady rate of new members also, which is a good indicator.

With two courses to play on Beadlow offers excellent value for money. The bunkers and greens are not up to the standard of many other courses in the area and can be frustrating. The courses have enough hazards to make them enough of a challenge but they are also quite forgiving for the high handicappers.

I played the Baron Course on Monday 9th August and found that it is a good test of golf, well laid out with a variety of hole design and so a pleasant and reasonably challenging round.

The tees were not in great condition, they are clearly working on some, but they need more attention, at the end of the day, you use a tee peg and so will always have a good lie and nothing to worry about. The fairways were in good condition with consistent lies, and the rough was a suitable length to be a disadvantage to hit it, but not impossible to find your ball. The bunkers are well designed and placed, but unfortunately were in terrible condition, it is as though they have acquired a large amount of builders sand and put it in with little thought and left burrowing animals to play. The greens were good, with a true run and holding a well hit approach.

There is also a driving range which was very large, but I didn't try, a good size pro shop with a variety of brands. The clubhouse did not look particularly inviting and on finishing our rounf at about 3 pm the bar wasn't open. The car park is very large, but it does have a small hotel and conference centre attached, though I have never used it.

At £15 for a midweek round it was excellent value for money and I look forward to playing this course again and also the baroness course.

Quite a good course and as usual for Bedfordshire a flat one, tree lined fairways and use of doglegs make this a thinking mans course. Hazards are positioned well and the greens quite quick and receptive.
Very popular course as there are 2 teaching professionals in the attached driving range.

Beadlow manor offers two very good courses, the Baron has a tendancy not to drain very well, but offers some excellent holes, some of the greens can suffer from lack of care at times Not sure why this is, over oall though for £16.05 a round you cant go wrong,

The barroness is a flatter course and shorter But has more bunkers than I have seen on any other course, so the challange rest on your short game...
