Very tough in the wind with greens fast but recently tined and not rolling true. Will be fabulous when greens have settled.

Lovely course shame about the sand

The greens had been covered but were still fast but bumpy as well. Rest of course was in good condition and very little to show the amount of rai...but it is on chalk so drains very well indeed. With the wind off the sea the holes are no longer or shorter as it blows across most of them.

Clubhouse closed at 18.15 !

Teed off at 14.22 and after a dour reception in the pro shop we were luckily issued with a voucher for a free cup of tea post round, However after battling our way around in wind and rain found The Clubhouse was now closed so couldn't either dry off or use our vouchers ! - Disappointed

Windy day but in superb condition

Course in great condition. Greens quick but fair. Stimp reading was 11. Played with a westerly and so 1st 3 holes with wind and should have taken advantage.

Great course,but gets very windy up on the downs but don't let that put you off playing this beautiful scenic course.Greens very quick and in good condition.Fairways very dry which is only downside

brilliant course on the Downs

The course played fantastic, excellent condition, especially the greens.
The breakfast was superb, £40 for Society golf, very good value for money
