This a great pay and play course. The staff are friendly and helpful. The course is in good a walk with some steep hills. There are some challenging holes but shouldn`t put the novice golfer from playing.

This is a good varied course. The first few holes have a lot of shared fairways.
Had a member jump on half way round and then accuse me of sneaking on!
Overall pretty good with no great weaknesses.

played this course and liked it, very reasonable rates, clubhouse very nice, greens are good, some of the early holes cross over but overall good value, the only slight issue is ramblers and dog walkers on the fairways i guess there must be footpaths accross the course

very good course, bit patchy in places and some complex fairways.

Is a members club unlike other jack barkers courses so proper dress is required.

Play the course most weeks. Fantastic condition and a challenge to most golfers. The addition of new hills and mounds has changed the course massivly. Top day.

Started using this course as it's literally on my doorstep but still going as it's an interesting and enjoyable run. Well worth going if you can get it for under £15 but if the fee is any more then think about playing at Leek Golf Club or Westwood Golf club which are both within a 10 min drive and outstanding for around a £17 fee.

It is a difficult course, there are a couple of blind tee shots, the fairways aren't the best on earth but it does help you build your game. The greens aren't as simple as they look! the par 3s look simple enough but there is no room for error as a wayward tee shot will often land you in a bunker or thick rough. There are a couple of shared fairways which is always annoying, the par 5s are reachable to the aggresive player, but, again you have to be accurate otherwise it's tricky to save par. the first seems simple enough for a par 4, the 11th is long for a par 4 and the wind seems to be always against you making it a tricky green to reach in reg. the 18th looks easy but you are above the green and sheltered from the wind and with a green side bunker each side of the mouth, it shouldn't be under estimated! In all a good course to test you Golfing prowess!!
