Started using this course as it's literally on my doorstep but still going as it's an interesting and enjoyable run. Well worth going if you can get it for under £15 but if the fee is any more then think about playing at Leek Golf Club or Westwood Golf club which are both within a 10 min drive and outstanding for around a £17 fee.

Hidden little gym
Hidden little gem. Views are breathtaking and dispute frozen conditions fairways and greens were very good.Potential at the club is huge the range facilities are superb.
Look forward to playing it again

Interesting course with some very challenging holes. Stays quite dry through winter compared to the parkland courses I usually play. Facilities very good, top tracer installed at driving range.

Tricky Course, and very hilly but good test. Greens were quite slow but the course has some very testing holes.

First Class Hospitality
Having arrived late as M6 had been closed the Staff and Kitchen were very accommodating with our bacon bap and hot drink, the pro desk was only to pleased to facilitate adjusting our tee, very reasonably priced buggies for those of us who found a few of the hills challenging found the course in good condition played all 18 good and overall a good test which found my ability lacking at times.Reviewer Rating

Club house very good but expensive. Changed three holes to stop crossing fairways but made course worse, the par three 15 is now par four, ok for big hitters but if you don't hit a ball 200plus you are in the lap of the gods, golf surposed to be enjoyable this was certainly not. Some fairways have severe slops and can be danger to other golfers. Wouldn't bother me if I never played the course again.
