What the club says: Leek Golf Club is situated in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands and is one of Staffordshire's best known golf courses. The club is friendly and welcoming and we encourage both new and established players to enjoy our challenging, but fair course.
We have over the last few years improved the playing quality of our greens and replaced or refurbished most of our bunkers to date with a continuing programme to refurbish all of our 60+ bunkers.

Lovely CourseThe best bit about Leek GC is that even if you're having a bad round, the course is so enjoyable that there's a chance you won't even care. The view are great, the holes are all lovely, and greens, tees and fairways are all in really good condition.
Amongst a host of candidates, my favourite hole has to be the par 4 14th. There's a climb to get there, but the view down to the fairway from the tee is fantastic.
Speaking of climbs, this isn't an especially easy walking course, despite locals telling me that it's not hilly.
However you play it, you should certainly play it one way or another.

First CompetitionStableford with Rich. Steady until the 15th, fading light, damp and gnarly so not bad all things considered.

The course is normally thought as being very good but the fairways and greens are the worsted I have ever seen them. The club house is clean and fresh seems as though they've spent money here and neglected the course.
