Burslem Golf Club is one that could have great potential. It is only a short, 9-hole course, but it has plenty of challenges. The undulating and narrow fairways, mean that it can be a challenge for the mid to high handicapper. Not too difficult for the low handicapper, as many good scores have been posted on a number of occasions! However, it has also produced some fantastic young golfers, with many winning local/national tournaments. (Even entering qualifictaion for The (British) Open - arguably, the most prestigious in world golf.)

The facilities are very good. The club house has plenty of space, for societies to enjoy. A large bar/eating area, means that you can relax and unwind after your game. It has a small putting green for practice, aswell as a small practice area to nurture your short game (which is vital around Burslem).

Overall, I would reccomend this course as a good challenge, and say that you should give it a try.
