What the club says: A pleasant 18 hole parkland course, with undulating fairways and plenty of mature trees.
At 5533 yards from the forward tees, it is not a long course, but provides a fair test for golfers of all standards, having six par three holes of varying difficulty.

Worth visiting
To start the day we had a bacon sandwich with a cup of coffee for all 16 of us.Course layout is very good with some interesting holes,it’s harder than you think it’s going to be. Especially the par 3 225 yards.
Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.

Returned to play here after many years. Very friendly club.
The whole course is well looked after and maintained , the greens were very good.

Decent course but rude members
Played a few months back on a really hot day. I played with 2 friends who traveled from Northampton for a game. Sadly towards the end some members approached us on their way to another hole and they were full of expletives "look at the F***** state of these" they shouted. Simply my shirt had come out of my shorts and they asked me to tuck it in. Big deal !! My friends were so angry they picked up their balls and walked off. Complete joke and I wouldn't go back Golf clubs should be a welcoming place. Not here.Reviewer Rating

This course is in fantastic condition. The greens are particularly worthy of a mention. This is a fairly easy course to master but the green will prove a serious challenge to even the most proficient golfer.

Ground staff working hard to improve the course and it is now beginning to tell, Meals in the club house are excellent and super value, if you come to play you must eat as well, completes the day.

Played in team game here Sat 1st Sept, found the course untidy -it never used to be. The greens were so slow and the rough was awful - poorly cut, could hit driver in some places in others you could not see your ball. Dont know whats happened here, memebers were not happy bunch.

Played here Friday 31st August,course is ok,however it was very untidy with grass cuttings everywhere,the rough was very thick & clumpy. I found the greens slow & not very true.not a bad layout but not somewhere i would play all the time.
Ps the other reviews about food- no food was available,apparently they do not serve food after 5.00 pm!!!! A little frustrating to say the least.

I played this course on 4th september, its in good condition, greens are brilliant and a good test on a mature course that has different challenges on every hole. We used a 2 for 1 voucher and it is deffinately worth the money.
