Challenging and scenic course in excellent condition. Surprising firm and fast fairways and greens for an inland course. Lots of variety of holes - some very long and straight, others requiring sharp turns and very accurate tee shot placement to have a good shot to the green e.g. #15. Comfy small clubhouse. Yellow tees plenty of fun for me, a short-hitting 13-handicapper (though I did manage to reach 600 yd par 5 in three with several good downhill shots that got plenty of run on the firm fairway. With a Bunkered voucher and two paid tee-times before 9am, £70 for a 3-ball was great value.

Truly amazing golf course, a very friendly welcome both before our round and after we finished from the professional - a credit to the course. The course was in fantastic shape and the views are well worth the visit, combine this with the Bunkered voucher and it is well worth the money.

Always a beautiful course with a number of memorable holes. The greens aren't great early in the season, we played just after they had been cored, but this takes nothing away from the experience. Always top of my list of courses to play in the Aviemore area.

played this course on 22/7/14 in blistering heat, the green keepers were out in force keeping the greens from drying out and the main fairways got the same treatment. A good example as to how this course is cared fir and kept playable in extreme weather. A credit to the guys and girls and to the Mcdonalds network.

Great layout, stunning location and out of this world views. New clubhouse is excellent.
Some areas of the fairways were badly burnt and the greens had been cored and VERY heavily sanded which was disappointing as I loved this course (despite playing terribly!) and would love to play it again when it is in top condition.

A fabulous track - possibly the best inland course in Scotland.

The setting is fantastic with the mountains and the River Spey winding its way alongside the first few holes, and the course was in excellent condition (we played it a week after the Challenge Tour event). It's long, so you get to use every club in the bag, but it never becomes a slog - we hired buggies, which I'd recommend. It's not especially tight, but anything wild is in the heather or the trees. There are also lots of bunkers and they are in the right places to catch your drives or approach shots.

There isn't a weak hole and it's a great test.

Absolutely stunning, the views, the course, the setting. If you get the chance you must play here, we played on the Bunkered magazine voucher and enjoyed our day fantastically.
