What the club says: This majestic course covers 7,153 yards of heathland, woodland, links and inland terrain - a wonderful combination of beautiful landscapes and challenging terrain.
Some of our holes are famous for their outstanding natural beauty; our 5th hole boasts the longest hole in Scotland (at 635 yards) and our 6th spans a lake which has been adopted as a nesting site by a bird colony. When you reach the 12th at the start of the home stretch, the Spey Valley opens up before you like a film set, whilst the 16th presents a real challenge for even the most experienced golfer. You'll need a long, accurate tee shot to carry the water hazard and the flowering purple heather is standing by to punish a poor shot. However, the most spectacular of all has to be the 18th; with its two bunkers designed to mirror the undulating corries of the mountains beyond, this is our raison d'être.

Fantastic course worth visiting
Great views from every part of the golf course a must play just for the 628 yards par 5 greens will improve as the season goes on(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 96 Handicap: 15.5)

absolutely fantastic!
one of the best iv'e played!

The start is quite tricky but then feels like it opens up a bit which is great if wild from the tee.
The greens and bunkers are excellent.

It seems tight but not too penal so all abilities can enjoy this course.
Fairways and greens in tip top shape.

Some areas of the fairways were badly burnt and the greens had been cored and VERY heavily sanded which was disappointing as I loved this course (despite playing terribly!) and would love to play it again when it is in top condition.
(Round played: Sep 2013 - Score: 100 Handicap: 7.9)

The setting is fantastic with the mountains and the River Spey winding its way alongside the first few holes, and the course was in excellent condition (we played it a week after the Challenge Tour event). It's long, so you get to use every club in the bag, but it never becomes a slog - we hired buggies, which I'd recommend. It's not especially tight, but anything wild is in the heather or the trees. There are also lots of bunkers and they are in the right places to catch your drives or approach shots.
There isn't a weak hole and it's a great test.
