What the club says: The 18 hole course is set in approximately 160 acres of Fylde countryside. From the white tees, the Par 72 at Staining Golf Club measures 6,492 yards. With wide fairways, short rough and few bunkers the 18 hole golf course is ideal for beginners. However don’t be fooled in to thinking the golf course is easy as its cleverly structured layout and design will prove a test for golfers of all abilities.

Great course in fantastic condition with wide fairways and great greens, sat on the patio with a beer afterwards watching groups teeing off on the 10th tee

Very enjoyable

Last minute decision to play prior to FA Cup Final
Very enjoyable day
Course quite wet in places not surprising after all the recent rain
greens were OK but showed some signs of play and were a bit spongy
cant comment on the clubhouse as had to fly away after for the match

Tough to comment

Difficult to comment on Stsining Lodge today, as to be honest it shouldn't have been open, it was fat too wet.
I can rate it from previous rounds as a nice open lay out, good for golfers of all levels, normally in excellent condition.
If all the courses around it are shut & they say it's a bit wet between greens & tee boxes, but generally OK, I'd think twice.

Very muddy at the moment, could do with Bark down around teas. Also not many people replace divots

Wet boggy horrific uncut course

Possibly the worst place infact is the worst place I’ve ever played. Fairways not cut I understand we’ve had some rain but my god it was literally like a swamp !!! Plugged every shot even on fairways stay well away many better places around. Nearly £30
A round to top it off

Friendly but hardish course

Very friendly reception and course in great condition. A great testing course with views of blackpool yet set in countryside.

Excellent course, first time played, challenging anyway but very wet (like most courses right now i suspect). Wet made course longer but still very enjoyable. Pleasant and helpful staff. Already said we will return in summer.
