Course was in excellent condition, a stiff breeze and difficult greens ensures a very challenging round.

Lovely links course close to Gullane and Muirfield etc.
Best greens Ive played on in years and the course was mint.
Not too long off the Blue tees so good for all levels of Handicap.
Very nice and friendly clubhouse opne to vistors for lunch etc
Highly reccomended

This is a distinctly average links course which at £59 per round is very expensive and not justified. The fairways were full of divots some very old. The staff were not friendly, welcoming or helpful. My wife and I wanted to rent electric trolleys but they did not do these so had to rent a buggy for £30. This had no GPS and after paying £148 we were expected to spend even more money for a course guide ... this is a total rip off!!

An excellent course, but do not underestimate it. The greens are in very good condition, but not surprised as they are well protected by bunkers. Greens are surely a challenge. All and all, a well enjoyed round with fantastic views. The lodge is also highly recommended. Stayed here for 4 nights on a business trip. Staff is friendly and very accommodating.

One of my favourite places to play golf. Links golf at it's toughest. Very tough green they are difficult to read. Fairways are kind and easy to use second shots are very important here

Terrific club,lovely views all very modern and properly run. Impressive practice facilities and clubhouse. My first ever linkscourse so hard to evaluate that, but greens were in excellent condition, nice views but be ready to get battered by the wind for the whole round....will test your patience!

This is truly golfer paradise
Super condition of greens and fw.
Lots of bunkers.
Lovely view.

Weather was nice,course was in great condition,good views around the course.greens were superb to putt on.I went round in 101 strokes off 28 handicap,4 pars n 7 bogeys,not bad for my 1st game of year. One of playing partners got a hole in 1 at 3rd hole(superb).Overall you can score round here if u play well,well worth playing!!!.

Difficult course not suited to the high handicapper - definitely stay out of the bunkers if you have any hope of making a score! The clubhouse is very plush but has an air of snobbiness about it and the food is massively overpriced.

excellent links course with undulating fast greens and tight fairways, the rough isn't very punishing you can recover wayward shots and still post a decent score. The views out to the sea are spectacular.

really good links course a must play deep bunkers so stay out if you can greens are really hard to read i couldent get any of the greens read so putting was hard angle wize a few tough tee shots aswell due to a few well placed bumkers dident have time to go into the clubhouse after the game as i hade to get off to work only bad thing i would have to say is the price full visitor price is £80 a round we got a winter deal for £35 but only this is it is only mid week the winter deal cant wait to go back to this course

Very sound, challenging course.
Plenty of well placed, eye wateringly deep bunkers (of which I found plenty)
Greens ran true and were of a decent pace despite recently being treated
Value for money it loses a mark - I played it as part of a deal, but I dont think it classed as 'value' to pay the full weekend rate of £80
