This course is one of the best conditioned courses I played in 2022. It's an excellent and challenging course near the sea with great views. It can be tough if you get into trouble, but it's great when you don't! The courses in this area are always in good condition and interesting to play. The difficulty off the tee and the prevailing wind make this place even more special.

Fantastic Dunes
Returned to the Dunes after around 6 years, was fantastic. Course has been developed and I would say this is now better than the Pins. Greens were excellent, food and hospitality also very good.Reviewer Rating

Awesome course. Great views, beautiful course. Very challenging (but fair) greens. You really need to reflect on where you direct the ball!

Great Value
Firstly, the service from Pro Shop, Dining Room, Bar and Course is first rate and welcoming. The two courses are in excellent condition - greens on La Foret nice and quick. However, the renovations on La Mer have created a stunning course but completely playable given the choice of tees. One thing, it is a bit of trek from the clubhouse to the La Mer course. A tough challenging links course
A tough links course in exceptional order, but made especially challenging due to the moderate breeze. Very slow play which became frustrating at times. Sadly no on-course club house or changing facilities. Nevertheless well worth a visit.Reviewer Rating

Great course
Not as difficult as it looks off the tee so get your tee shot in the middle and you can score. Greens were nicely fast and course in good condition. Fantastic new clubhouse and great facilities all round. Want to play again ; tomorrow preferably !(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 104 Handicap: 25.2)

Interesting course

Fabulous championship quality links course
Played on a hot, breezy day with immaculate greens and fringes baked hard in the sun and cut to snooker table smoothness. Really challenging and surprisingly hilly climbs through the tall dune landscape. Links swales cunningly pulling misplaced approaches into bunkers and off the greens. Hard but enjoyable. Beautiful course
Course was in very good condition. Good challenge with hazard all the was along. The new clubhouse is beautiful and highly recommend a visit to play here. Will try Le Foret course next time.Unfortunately we were behind a competition which slowed down play massively.

Played many courses and played le mer on many occasions over the years. The changes that have been made in recent years have improved the course to a new level, my favourite golf course, i would love to play it every day

lovely course really enjoyed the game some tricky holes. The new hole remodelling meant that our sat nav wathes did not work on 3 back holes.

Very helpful staff in the reception on an exceptionally rainy saturday, offered to let us swap our order of playing the courses from La Mer / La foret to La Foret / la Mer. This ensured that we would be play the nicer course (La Mer) on the Sunday. Thanks for that!
