Excellent Course

The course was in an excellent condition and the staff were friendly. The food was superb

Course is in great condition, particularly the greens. Not too long , but plenty of good testers. Considering is is not ancient (under 30 years) very mature landscape. Still think the 15th is the natural finish up to the clubhouse and the last 3 holes should be the first 3.

Very pretty, well laid out

Love playing here. Each hole a bit different. Not the longest but water and mature trees make it a challenge

Varied challenging course

A varied course with some vary tricky par 3s over water to negotiate. Not long but sufficient hazards to require a hole strategy rather than just blast it. Last three holes are other side of what can be a busy B-road.

Large clubhouse used for weddings and conferences. Good practice facilities.

Lovely course

First time playing here. This is not a long course, but does require accuracy off the tee. The fairways were baked so the tee shots played a lot longer than normal which made scoring somewhat easier! Greens were in good condition. Very receptive but a little bumpy in places, but the ball rolled true enough. I was disappointed in the number of pitch marks left which I was fixing as I went.

Quite a few blind shots on the course which makes it interesting. I particularly liked the 1st, 9th, 13th, 15th and 18th holes.

I'll definitely play this course again.

£40?!

AWFUL condition - fiarways more like rough - some ridiculous bald patches and terrible around upkeep greens - have played better public council courses - greens very slow too (as was the play - we gave up on the 15th as the car park is adjacent) - do not waste your money here - there are better courses you can play for around £25. Never coming back!

Decent Track!

Always in good condition and all staff and members very welcoming. Not a long course but never the less has a couple of challenging par 3 holes. A good time had by all.

I have a played at Chobham a few times. Its a private course and tends to be quiet. On the whole I would says its pretty good and worth a visit. The greens are tour pace (very fast) but will hold a well struck approach. Worth noting that its generally quite short with a number of internal OOB between holes which is very irritating as the holes are quite narrow. Also a couple of severe dog legs due to limited acreage.

Course is on the short side with too many similar holes, a lot of doglegs. In reasonable condition but at ?35 a bit pricey for the challenge offered.

Lovely course but very dry this time of the year

I found the course an excellent challenge for a mid-handicapper as there are so many holes where you really have to think about club selection off the tee instead of just lashing out with the driver every time. Plenty of doglegs, lakes, ditches as well as tricky, slopey and very fast greens and overall lovely layout and landscape. The course was bone-dry so ball bounced off the fairways and most of the bunkers were rock hard but the greens and tee boxes were well watered and in good condition. Very friendly welcome at the clubhouse which is also quite grand. Had some drinks but didn't eat so can't comment on food. Doesn't seem to have a driving range but there are some practice facilities which I didn't use.
