Caught 3 members up on the 3rd green. They were hitting the ball 50 yds a shot. From then on we were waiting every shot. Did not let us through. On the 9th when they were looking for balls we basically told them we were playing thru and the comment back was we are only playing 9 to which we replied they were holding up the whole course. Whether playing 3 holes or 10 holes, no excuse for lack of etiquette and not letting groups thru. Unreal. From seeing them walk to the 1st tee and then paying, warming up: putting, chipping, and nets we estimated that if they played 18 holes they would have been on for well over a 5 hour round. Shame, nice course but won't be going back.Reviewer Rating

£40?!
AWFUL condition - fiarways more like rough - some ridiculous bald patches and terrible around upkeep greens - have played better public council courses - greens very slow too (as was the play - we gave up on the 15th as the car park is adjacent) - do not waste your money here - there are better courses you can play for around £25. Course is on the short side with too many similar holes, a lot of doglegs. In reasonable condition but at ?35 a bit pricey for the challenge offered.

Nice little course
First time playing this course, on my day off on a Thursday. Not a long course buy any stretch, but a nice layout with beautiful greens and tree-lined fairways. I only needed driver on the par 5s and mostly played for position on the par 4s, leaving a wedge in. There are a few doglegs, mostly on the par 5s which requires accurate driving. The course has the feel of a members-only club, you feel quite secluded on the fairways. I'll definitely play here again - it's a nice course to potter around on.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 82 Handicap: 14.9)

Excellent Course

I have a played at Chobham a few times. Its a private course and tends to be quiet. On the whole I would says its pretty good and worth a visit. The greens are tour pace (very fast) but will hold a well struck approach. Worth noting that its generally quite short with a number of internal OOB between holes which is very irritating as the holes are quite narrow. Also a couple of severe dog legs due to limited acreage.

Decent enough course , not very long so play for position rather than distance. Staff and members very friendly.
