Wonderful course in great condition. Quite undulating but not to deter less mobile golfers more augusta style. Greens carpet like but slow due to heavy rain. A course that looks very open but with very strategic placement of old oak trees making even a fairway hitting drive mean you may need to lay up before getting on the green. Realy enjoyed this course. Good practice facilities and friendly pro shop. Didnt try the bar so cant rate. Brilliant course and great value. Will play again.

play on April on the 16th the course is fantastic !! The greens putted really well fast and very true. The fairway look great off the tee and are good to play off. A great course must play if you are in area.

Recently joined Henlle, for a bargain price. Really tests my golf as unlike some courses, length isn't the only issue. Lots of really well placed trees (which are big), mean that you have to think your way around the course just as much as hitting it straight.

Course is in superb condition and the greens are fast and true. Best thing I did was to join, wish I'd left previous club sooner.

Very Picturesque

Very friendly place and not over expensive. The course is better than good but there are quite a few blind holes. The greens are in very good order and quite fast but true.

Worth a visit

Not my type of course as there are many blind holes, but still worth a visit. The course is well manicured (no grass cuttings on the fairways) and the greens are very true and moderately fast. Play was very slow but probably because it was very windy. Well worth the green fee plus a buggy was only £25.

A Good chalenge

Lovely course despite the wet conditions, many challenging holes with large trees and water In many places. Good food and service available in all departments and the shop.

Very nice course, undulating but not a hard walk, in good condition and very friendly, would certainly come again. Played as part of a three day trip with Llanymynech and Llangollen, and certainly didn’t disappoint.

Really enjoyable

We played Henlle for the first time in their Mixed Open on 19 August. The course was recovering well from the long dry spell. The greens were in excellent condition, smooth and fast.There isn't a bad hole on the back 9. Overall, the course is tough but fair. The choice, quality and price of food in the club house was first class too. We really enjoyed playing Henlle and we will be back.
