Interesting course with excellent facilities
A most enjoyable weekend. Our second such visit.Good value for money with a package which included a night at the nearby Lion Quays Hotel.
All the club staff were friendly and helpful. Catering and bar facilities excellent.
The course is challenging although quite a bit of walking over the last few holes for older golfers. Reasonably priced buggies are available though.
Will return.

Cracking Course!!!!!
Beautifully contoured course. Some internal out of bounds to keep an eye out for but has wide open fairways so not really a problem. Tee shots over water. Greens were great. Some cool risk and reward hole to have a go at. An absolute pleasure to play. The staff in the bar were great too. What a lovely place to play. We got a "Hot Deal" online so it was amazingly cheap. Course was almost empty! Monday afternoon !!!Reviewer Rating

Brilliantly Laid Out Golf Course
Society Day. Brilliantly Laid Out Golf Course. The course layout is well thought out using the natural aged trees to create some tactical holes instead of just tee up and whack it. I prefer these type of golf courses as you have to think your way around. If you can hit straight you'll always have a chance as presicion is the key. The greens give a true roll and are in excellent condition. The staff and food were amazing too.Reviewer Rating

Lovely day, lovely course. A relatively short course barring a few long par 5's. Weather was superb which helped scoring a lot.

I love this course. The clubhouse looks like a stately home ,well appointed with views over the course .The course is parkland with mature trees but still having an open feel. Minor changes in elevation water on a couple of holes. Excellent pro shop . Snack only which was very tasty but meals available.

Played on Friday 3rd July enjoyed the day out the course was in excellent condition and with my handicap ( 26 ) I found it enjoyable the par 3 where a challenge that I managed to pass two pars. The staff in the shop and the bar were very pleasant and the meal at the end finished off a good day.\Thank you Bernard Taylor

One word for this course: Immaculate. The greens are super fast and true and the fairways in excellent condition. This is a true test of golf which draws you in and puts a smile on your face from the very first shot. Parkland golf at its very best. Is it fussy of me to say that I thought some of the par 3s could benefit from a little extra length? Or is that just because I played them so badly?!

The annual golf day in aid of the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (R.A.B.I.) is held at Henlle Golf Club each June. The event runs smoothly each year, and nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained and all our golfers have a great day. The food and service at the club house is of exceptional standard and we look forward to our day with you on 5th June.

I have played this course numerous times since it opened and agree with a previous post that the course has continued to improve and has matured into a course that is in excellent condition all year round.
I last played a few weeks ago and was particularly impressed with the quality of the greens and all round drainage, especially considering the recent bad weather. Having played a couple of other local courses in the same period, the condition of Henlle Park was head and shoulders above their competitiors.
You are always guaranteed a warm welcome and stunning views at Henlle and now you are guaranteed an excellent test of golf.

Played a couple of times in December `14 and felt the course was in fantastic nic. Greens were excellent. I also played another local course in December there was no comparison in terms of condition. Henelle was far superior.

Not even a wet, windy and all-round miserable day in December could ruin my golfing experience at Henlle. The ground was well drained and the greens were quite remarkable. It was a delight. Warmed myself up in the clubhouse afterwards with a nice cuppa (and delicious pint!).

Well conditioned, picturesque stern test of golf. A friendly welcome was received along with a quick guide to the first few holes. On my visit the greens had recently been worked on. Visually they where not pleasant but putting on them was ok. I only noticed one deviation on my putts. Saying that they where fast especially downhill. If you are older, or unfit like me then don't carry your bag! My god i needed a taxi on some of the walks from greens to the next tee! I think that's the longest walk I have ever endured.

A beautiful course in a beautiful setting. You would think that the course had been there for over a hundred years not ten! The greens were incredible, very true and quick. As well as perfect fairways!! It was a good challenge without being too difficult. The rough was short and pretty easy to get out of. The food was lovely and pretty cheap. All round good value and highly recommended!! A must play!!!
