I played the course with my society It was the best conditioned course that we have played so far this year! Greens were superb, the was food excellent. A good test of golf for players of all abilities and well worth a visit. Score 79 handicap 12

Wonderful course in great condition. Quite undulating but not to deter less mobile golfers more augusta style. Greens carpet like but slow due to heavy rain. A course that looks very open but with very strategic placement of old oak trees making even a fairway hitting drive mean you may need to lay up before getting on the green. Realy enjoyed this course. Good practice facilities and friendly pro shop. Didnt try the bar so cant rate. Brilliant course and great value. Will play again.

play on April on the 16th the course is fantastic !! The greens putted really well fast and very true. The fairway look great off the tee and are good to play off. A great course must play if you are in area.

lovely course, v nice greens (for time of year) and pretty dry, which given the weather at the moment (jan 2014) is an achievement.

I played this course about 12 months ago and agreed with the previous comment about the greens being patchy in areas but played it again last week and the course was looking in fantastic condition. The greens have come on really well and play 75% better than last time I played. I only play here once or twice a year and its definitely getting better and better. A fairly young club (just celebrated their 10 year anniversary I understand) and the course is maturing very nicely with some ancient trees being utilised well in the course design too. There are some challenging holes with water coming into play on at least 5 of the 18. The clubhouse is impressive and the whole place is a really friendly, family run environment. I played as a green fee and the members too were very welcoming and friendly (unlike many other clubs in the area). A great young club that is fast becoming the top club in the area.

Ok course without being anything special. Fairways in good condition though the greens were patchy and quite slow.. Plenty of deep rough to lose your ball in.
We were a small society and had a 2 course meal, the piece of lamb we got was the smallist a out of meat I have been given at a golf club in the last 30 years, desert was gateaux.
Club weren't well organised and a pre booked buggy was not available.

fairways where better than greens. Think fairways make it easy on eye but greens where abysmal very very overate by club ,they say its up there with llangollen . not a chance

Recently joined Henlle, for a bargain price. Really tests my golf as unlike some courses, length isn't the only issue. Lots of really well placed trees (which are big), mean that you have to think your way around the course just as much as hitting it straight.
Course is in superb condition and the greens are fast and true. Best thing I did was to join, wish I'd left previous club sooner.

Quite a new course, and still needing to mature, but some nice long holes and general course condition fairly good for a newcomer.
