Cant believe how dry the course is. Fantastic to play even though all of this rain.
11.15 tee time and I signed up to a "playercard" and only paid £15.

fantastic value for money.

Played here in July. It used to be better. The bunkers are full of rocks (and I mean rocks) the fairways are non exsistent and the greens hadn't been cut for a few days. I played to par but the course is in very poor condition, really disappointed as I played here up to my teens and wanted to love it as I used to. Not worth the £29.50 green fee.

well i joined as a member in about oct 11, before this i on and off played the course and course always seemed pristine. the only problem i find now is that no one seems to know what a pitchmark repairer is!!!! i often find myself when not in a major rush to finish pottering around the green getting rid of pitchmarks. i dont mind too much just would be nice if people started to use them or if the guy who supervises was to have a word in the ear when and if he sees it going on. anyway apart from that its a nice quality course with lots of challenging holes (well for me anyway) fairways are always kept nice tee boxes allways look good considering how many people use the course. i would recommend this course to anyone looking for a nice chilled out game with all the stunning views

A great find. The staff were very pleasant and the green fee of just £9.99 after 5pm was remarkable.
My only problem was the first cut of rough was much too high. For a first time player not knowing my way round I found I was hitting balls to the edge of the fairway and losing the ball completely in an area which I expect to have a reasonable shot from. That was very frustrating, it's ok for Tiger with his gallery and free balls but I found the grass excessively high. Next time I play there I must remember to take more balls, or find the fairways more often! The 18th is brilliant, there are two bunkers that guard the hole that are impossible to see from the fairway, short and you're in trouble, a great finishing hole. A really nice place.

There's lots to love about this course. The views, the excellent greens, a number of very pretty and different holes, a decent clubhouse, and good practise options. The back 9 especially has a lot to offer, with the pretty but tricky 12th, the short but tight 15th, the drop to the par 3 16th, and the even steeper drop at the finishing hole. This is certainly one of my favourite courses in the area.

A Good Find

Well looked after course. Excellent greens, superbly attentive staff & great value. V keen to get back & play better to give it justice. The whites made it too tough for me on the day

That was probably the best condition I've seen the course in, but unfortunately let down by poor putting surfaces on most greens.

WGS day out

Just over 4hrs course was very good and the greens receptive and true at about 10 stimp and pretty much every green same speeds, we got rain thunder and lightning but it never spoiled our day. We are always treated so well there too the staff were excellent as always and .we had a great day. Thank you all so much for a great day.regards Rob H
