Wow, very enjoyable course, exellent fast greens, intersting holes with blind drives, very scenic views, the front nine is where all the fun starts but the back nine is where you can score, will be heading back there very soon.

Poor greens and slow play

No trollies on the range before a round is not ideal.

90 minutes to play the first 8 holes (with some waiting on tees). The last 11 holes took two and a half hours. At times there were 3 groups waiting on the same tee. Pace of play was exceptionally slow, held up by a 2-ball using a buggy. No marshalls anywhere.

Greens were covered in pitch marks- fresh ones, plus others that had been repaired way too late, leaving the greens in poor condition. Also too many stones in bunkers, which then end up on the greens.

Thankfully I played with a member so it was a touch cheaper., but ?36 (I believe) is ridiculously expensive.

Hidden gem

This is a fantastic course which I really enjoyed.. interesting Kay out and magnificent vistas. Course was in really good shape, not perfect but very playable and enjoyable.
Speed of play was brilliant... well below 4hours for a three ball
I will definitely return as this is great value for money at £35 weekend green fee

North v South comp

Course played well, the rain over night helped the fairways. Greens where in good condition. Overall always nice to play this course.

You'd be hard to find a more immaculate course for £20!

For £20 the course is in fantastic condition! Great Work form the green keepers!

Lovely open course which can be forgiving on some holes if you are high handicapper, lot of undulating fairways and greens were in good condition.

Would play again
