After heavy rain on Sunday, the course was bound to be wet but I was surprised at some of the tee positions which were boggy and apparently we in the same spots as used for weekend competition. A movement of white blocks by 2 yards either way could have helped conditions and wear and tear.

The course I play most often due to the distance from my house. The main course is always in good condition all year round which is surprising due to the amount of people that play there. There is some fantastic views from the top of the course and a good few tricky holes to keep it interesting. I have played here with 28 -4 handicappers and they all agree it is a nice course to play. Nice clubhouse and pro shop. Also one of the few courses to offer military discount. Only gripe, stagger the tee times a bit more between when a 4 ball teeing off. There is no difference between the times for whatever size group and this nearly always leads to bottle necking at about the 9th.

Very wet day but course played well. Lots of water in bunkers but to be expected.

Good public course with some great views over the Chilterns. Can be quite challenging in dry weather as it is difficult to stop the ball on the greens and can run off into some thick rough. Excellent friendly staff. It can be very busy and slow.

Open but hilly course. Challenging but no real penalty for not keeping straight off the tee. Greens were bumpy and was a good course. The bar / lounge was okay. Was very exposed and windy...would be relatively easy course in good weather.

The rolling hillside adds to the challenge in placing your drives on a number of holes.

Second time here, recent rain helped the course no end... previously it was dry and not enjoyable as everything ran a mile but this time out it was very good, good shots stuck on very fair greens. Not an overly difficult course but some interesting holes, blind shots and great views. A good driver will have a field day, and for that matter even a short but accurate one.
