Played with my socitey aintree golf.First of all we were treated very well and had a fantastic breakfeast. The members and staff were exerlant.
The weather was heavy showers. The course was abit soggy in the dips and the greens had slowed abit(they had a months worth of rain over the previous few days) The course was tight in parts and a good chalange. some long par 4s. all in all a very good mature parkland course. we finished the day off with a nice dinner and a drink in the club house with it panaramic veiw of the course.........

Top course. We play in senior opens twice every year always in good condition.greens immaculate some tough holes but a pleasure to play.Nice bacon barm in friendly club house. A course everyone will enjoy

Worsley golf course is not worsley park which is at the nearby Marriott hotel. Worsley is a mature, well maintained course where accuracy is required on most holes as the large trees can make access to the greens challenging. Enjoyable for all handicap levels and great value if you play with a member.

Busy/slow round
Have played a couple of times - course was in good condition, average mix of holes, nothing overly special. Unfortunately a society slowed everything down, as holes are quite close in places there were people everywhere, on wrong fairways & we nearly got hit several times. Put me off returning to be honest.Reviewer Rating

Best course in the area
Course always in great condition. A great experience, from Andy the freindly Pro who welcomes you before your round to Darren and his team in the bar and kitchen who can not do enough for you .Reviewer Rating

Nice course, worth playing
First time playing at Worsley GC. Nice clubhouse with well stocked Pro shop attached. Friendly welcome by all. Good practice facilities. Course is superb, well laid out, fairly flat. In great condition, lush fairways, true greens. Some really nice looking holes, treelined. Have to plot your way around a little, position is key on some holes. Is on the return list for sure.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 79 Handicap: 5.8)

wet wet wet
as a former member at this course i was disappointed to see how wet the course still is. This is an extremely expensive members club and i would be so disappointed with the standard of the course, The greens are though immaculate and true.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 80 Handicap: 10.9)

It had rained a lot before we played, so some of the area's of the course were very boggy. Yet we still managed to have a fantastic round of golf. The course played true it's length and difficulty, but still gave chances to score if you kept your tee shots on target.

Nice course and lay out however, the condition of the place is poor, greens unbelievably slow and untrue, no definition, still on lift clean and place in June, that says everything! Could be excellent but it really isn't

We held our Captains Day at Worsley GC on Friday 25/7 and played 25 holes,7 in the morning and 18 in the afternoon.I was more than pleased with the way they accommodated the 48 of us from the moment we arrived at 0800hrs until we left at 2130hrs.The fairways, greens and bunkers were in fantastic condition.One or two of the teeing area's were well used and need some respite.Although not a very long course it was a fair golfing challenge to all of the party whose handicaps ranged from +1 to 26.
One small gripe from the group was that only two of the showers were working in the locker room.
Overall an excellent choice of venue and well worth visiting again.

Great course, it wasn't first time playing here and the holes were challenging but very good. Some tricky narrow fairways and awkward bunker positions but overall a really enjoyable round.
