Nice course and lay out however, the condition of the place is poor, greens unbelievably slow and untrue, no definition, still on lift clean and place in June, that says everything! Could be excellent but it really isn't

Busy/slow round
Have played a couple of times - course was in good condition, average mix of holes, nothing overly special. Unfortunately a society slowed everything down, as holes are quite close in places there were people everywhere, on wrong fairways & we nearly got hit several times. wet wet wet
as a former member at this course i was disappointed to see how wet the course still is. This is an extremely expensive members club and i would be so disappointed with the standard of the course, The greens are though immaculate and true.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 80 Handicap: 10.9)

Course was in great condition, some really interesting and challenging holes. You wont score well without thinking your way round here. Golf experience was very undermined by the fact that we were stuck behind a committee member who was playing incredibly slowly. At one stage he (the committee member) approached us and decreed that despite the fact we were waiting on every tee for about 5 holes and because we were visitors we should let the group behind us (who were members) play through and that they in turn would play them through. Course very worth playing if you are not bothered about having to stand aside for the more important members!!

Course was in very good condition. However what I did not enjoy was poor quality practice green and members practicing on the 1st hole whilst players waiting to tee off! First impressions were poor but the course made up for it. A bit over priced in my opinion. Wouldnt play here again unless there was an offer.

Charity Golf Day
Played here for the first time, heavy rain leading up to the event but the course held up ok. Nice variety of holes, greens were showing signs of wear so overall it was ok. Good food and hospitality in the club house.Reviewer Rating

Clubhouse was not open but i did tee off at 8:00. Lots of green keepers working!

Worsley GC is a great course not the hardest of courses and very player friendly becomes a little boggy in places after rain. Greens are immaculate 14th was on temp as been treated and repaired winter tee rate £25 ok if drains get improved(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 75 Handicap: 11.4)

nice round
