What The Club Says
Davyhulme Park Golf Club is set in 99 acres of parkland and offers skilled and lesser players a great challenge in equal measure. With a blend of both long and short inviting par four holes, Davyhulme can best be described as a true risk and reward course. Take on the tight, tree lined short fours at your peril! Davyhulme is easy on the legs, pleasing to the eye and deceptive in its challenge. An ideal and very picturesque course, which has consistently been in "superb condition" for many years- hence this is one course we think you’ll re-visit again and again.

Fantastic hidden gem
Lovely golf course which is a real test for any golfer. Great variety of holes and all the greens are in very good condition. Bunkers are good too. Great pro shop and clubhouse with really nice staff. Monday afternoons are discounted.Reviewer Rating

Solid Parkland Course
A nice parkland course, better than I remembered it from my last visit. It is quite flat, but there are a couple of dog legs to keep you thinking & anything wayward is going to get you in tree trouble. Add to that a couple of nice par 3’s & a couple of risk 7 reward par 4’s it’s a pleasant course to play.
The greens are excellent, they are in superb condition as are the bunkers & 10/10 to the locals for raking them. Most courses these days look like someone has had a dance in them!
Topping it off is the welcome in the clubhouse. It’s a fantastic 1920’s art deco clubhouse & a great set up for a pint at the end of the round.

Interesting?
Played Davyhulme Park last week. This was a very enjoyable round on a course which, although short, has many holes where you need to do a bit of thinking. Probably the flattest course I've ever played but nonetheless a good day out.Reviewer Rating

Standard Parkland Course
Davyhulme is a standard parkland course in terms of it's layout. I thought there was going to be no stand out holes, until I came to the par 3 17th over water with a tree in front of the green, very nice. Other than that, I can't really remember any holes in particular. It's fairly short, but there are plenty of trees if you get wayward.
Having said all that it is in excellent condition for the time of year & the greens are superb. The friendliness of everyone from the staff to the members was excellent.
I wouldn't rush back, but equally I'd happily play it again.
