Great Course

Good condition pace of play good, tees and fairways and greens all looked good, Grass cut under trees which keep s the speed of play good

Hidden gem

Lovely course well maintained, just reliant on dry weather which is a big problem being located in Manchester, course doesn't drain quickly so pack your waterproof shoes.
I?ll be back again when course is dry.

Excellent course

The course was new too me but I really enjoyed playing e fairways were in great condition and the greens were superb

Great course excellent condition

Lovely weather and the course was in immaculate condition, greens very nice and a good challenge with some really good company, very nice 19th also

Course was excellent. Greens were very true and well cut. Presentation of the whole course was really good, plenty of sand in the bunkers. Good in the clubhouse was spot on (go for the steak and mushroom ciabatta, melt in the mouth!).

WOW. Played at Davyhulme yesterday. I've played most of the courses in and around Manchester and this ranks right up there. The course is picturesque and well established. Each hole on the course is interesting. The greens are incredible. Fast, true, firm and difficult. The course is not long but good positioning off the tee is necessary and wayward tee shots leave you with difficult shots out of the rough or trees. Bunkers beautifully cared for with lots of sand! The clubhouse is a lovely art deco building, pro shop is well stocked and the members are friendly.
I don't often feel the need to write reviews but I did about Davyhume. HIGHLY recommended.

Very humid day to play but still enjoyed the course and facilities.Greens fair and fairways nicely cut.
Liked how every next tee was signposted and was easy to walk the course,very flat but more trees on it then Sherwood Forest

Great course, straightforward from the fairways, but punishing rough and lots of trees line the fairways. Good test of golf. Friendly staff, great pro and a very welcoming course

Interesting?

Played Davyhulme Park last week. This was a very enjoyable round on a course which, although short, has many holes where you need to do a bit of thinking. Probably the flattest course I've ever played but nonetheless a good day out.
