Nice course
Good course for a beginner as quite short. When the weather gets a bit warmer parts of the course will dry out as it was quite boggy in places. Apart from that nice course and good value for money.Reviewer Rating

Renamed as Solihull GC
The owners are spending a lot of money to make improvements to what has imo always been a little gem. All range bays have free trackman, tho buying better range balls than the moulded yellow plastic would improve it even more, they've installed an artificial practice putting green, and are renewing the buggy fleet. The course itself, while not long has sufficient challenges for anyone that isn't a low handicap. Maintenance has dipped a little recently but the always helpful staff have said that it will be improving again shortly.Reviewer Rating

I haven't played widney for a couple of years, it's still a fairly young course with plenty of hazards
The ball wash box at every tee was filled with a soapy solution which is always appreciated

Widney Manor course is still in good condition considering the Winter Months. The greens had good pace, and the driving range has been upgraded which is excellent plus money spent in the club house.

First time "around"
Played here on a Wednesday having booked on line. A bright, friendly welcome was received by me in the clubhouse, However when going to the tee at my time, I found out that a club competition threesome were booked for the same time. No problem for the threesome who let me go first. Obviously the website needs to synchronise with the clubhouse/pro shop to remove duplicated tee times. The course was well set out, well signed to tees, fairways well cut and greens very good. Only exception near 13th hole near motorway which was very boggy and poor drainage. Pace of play throughout excellent.Decent layout. Other players very friendly and facilities good.Reviewer Rating

Course was in lovely condition for mid October, with good pace greens. Really good value for money and pace of play was really good.

Not too bad
Varied course. Tee off areas were in poor condition and need some attention.Club house has seen better days. Toliets not nice.

A fairly easy course but with some tricky bits. Good fairways and greens. There a couple of holes over water and the back nine is beside a motorway although we didn't find this intrusive.

Super little course with some very tricky holes like 1 where the green is over a pond with a hedge behind it. Several ponds and gulleys and strategically places trees. Greens don't look great but they are true and run accurately. Nice clubhouse. Not expensive
