First time "around"
Played here on a Wednesday having booked on line. A bright, friendly welcome was received by me in the clubhouse, However when going to the tee at my time, I found out that a club competition threesome were booked for the same time. No problem for the threesome who let me go first. Obviously the website needs to synchronise with the clubhouse/pro shop to remove duplicated tee times. The course was well set out, well signed to tees, fairways well cut and greens very good. Only exception near 13th hole near motorway which was very boggy and poor drainage. Pace of play throughout excellent.Decent layout. Other players very friendly and facilities good.Reviewer Rating

The Kings Men
Took our society to play Widney Manor a great package breakfast sandwich 18 hole of Golf and lunch. first visit a great course and the staff could not do enough for us would recommend a visit not the longest course around but enough water and trees to keep you focused(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 71 Handicap: 27.1)

Superb summer value
firming up , but enough give on the fairway , greens are beginning to reap the rewards of a lot of hard work and great summer weather Staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful in the business. Number 1 course for value golf(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 22.6)

Late Sept............course in excellent conditions........greens superb, lush fairways, fair rough. Shortish course but plenty to catch you out unless you play to single figure handicap!! Some of cart paths now tarmaced. Visitors get free pie and chips if you tee off before 2pm. a very good experience

Discovered this little course by accident, but very glad I did. Not easy, but not impossible for a beginner to hit a decent score. Greens are awesome, fairways very good...and the staff are some of the best I've encountered anywhere. Throw in a playe of pie and chips, and what more could you ask for between 15 and 20 quid ? Excellent value...

Great greens in good shape only problem was no markers only 100yrd sprinkler heads wich are hard to see further back making shots short and long

Course was in v good condition, though if you ran off the fairway it could be difficult to spot your ball in the first cut. Greens were true but not as quick as they might have been following the overnight downpour. The three of our group who hadn't played here before all said they enjoyed the course and would be very happy to return. Staff in the clubhouse were welcoming and friendly and the book online offer of pie and chips made the afternoon excellent value for money.

Great value for money. In all the time I have played the course it has always been in greatcondition. Some of the holes are very challenging, but creates a competitive round for all levels of golfer.
