Little good un

First of all have to say a BIG thanks and thumbs up to the ground staff looking forward to the spring when the new tee?s etc will be in operation.True being spread over 3 fields it's not to every one?s liking but being on chalk it's a year round course with nice sea views on many holes a good half way hut a small but perfectly formed club house with friendly staff and members, what more could you ask. o yes all at a good price. see you there

Marvellous with a quirkiness that's totally endearing.

Not very long (Par 64) but, if the wind is up, as difficult as any course.
8 par threes. Ranging from 106 to 225 yards. Each throws up it's own problems.
Well maintained greens that were running really well.
Course is played in 4 stages. 1-3 in one field, 4 to 14 in another over the railway bridge, 15 to 17 in another field (all par threes) then back to the first field to play 18 and get into the wonderfully friendly clubhouse.
Officially been around since 1893 as W&B but there's a map in the clubhouse dated 1844. So they are clearly doing something right and breakfast was superb.

Disappointed

First, the positives: the welcome was friendly, the food excellent and the toilets sparkling clean.\\Now the negatives: the greens were scabby, the first cut off the fairways was unfairly tough and tangly, and the whole place seemed a bit run down. \\Although it is a short course, it is a fair test of your handicap. Just a shame that the overall experience was disappointing

Short and level 18 hole golf course at a very fair price.nice halfway hut well just a little over half way.well maintained course very pleasant staff and members only down side is their bar ,get more than half a dozen in there and it's crowded. fine in the summer sit outside.affordable golf especially for us older players who don't need to play at the weekends

Short but sweet

Nice little course in good condition especially this late in the season.Could-do with a bit more sand in some of the bunkers I visited most of them .great little half way hut very good coffee and a hot sausage roll with brown sauce don’t get any better.enjoyed my round.

Nice shirt course. Not too many tricky holes so even if you don’t hit too straight you should be okay

Lovely little course

Don't be fooled about the shortness of this course - very well kept and challenging - control is key

Course is split over 3 areas, which are reached by crossing roads. For some reason today players were starting their rounds on hole 17. It is a course that would suit beginners very well.
