Played after some very wet and was very muddy and hard going will be going back when better weather as seem like a nice course and was a free round give to me

Played course in rain so greens was slow. 1-2 nod holes on spitfire are still bedding in. Would play again but course is short at 5200 yards

Played the spitfire course. Enjoyed playing here as, although not an over-long course, it contains some tough holes. Greens especially were in good nick. Will definitely visit again - challenging and one to play with experience of how to best play it. Excellent pro-shop there.

very hilly for a supposed to be a flat course. And a few unsighted holes. Greens very fast

I've played both courses, Spitfire and Hurricane and can't decide which I like best but, I believe this one - Spitfire -is definitely the more challenging of the two. It is more undulating than the Hurricane and there are a few more thinking holes where Driver, short iron is not the norm. Overall in pretty good nick, tee boxes mostly flat with greens okay although the slowest I have ever played. Needed a cut but we did have heavy rain the night before so excusable. Staff were a bit iffy with our organiser as we had two blowouts on the day (10 played instead of 12) and have you ever had to leave a deposit for LD / NP markers? No biggie but, If I were them I'd take any be more forgiving and make Societies want to return.

With the recent weather of course it was wet in places but considering some courses have been closed it was not in bad condition. I really enjoyed the course and will definitely return in summer to try it at its best.

Tricky course, local knowledge paramount

Considering the rain we have the course was in superb condition. Fairways were not boggy and greens were superb. Would definitely recommend

Hurricane
I played with 2 members and it still cost me ?45 normal price ?60.This is not a ?60 course.
?35 on a weekend would be a fair price.
I understand that they want to keep members happy by keeping the play & pay low but pay & play bring in a lot of income from golf & food/drinks.
The course was in great condition, greens were very good.
It's a tough course with water, streams running all through it & bunkers protecting the greens.
There?s a few long par 4?s some tricky par 3?s and a great par 5.
I would play it again because of knowing members.
It also has one of the best golf shops on site that I have ever seen at a golf club.
