Nice Course
Obviously playing in November I didn't see it at it's best, but it was a well laid out track where you had to be accurate off the tee due to the tree lined fairways & hit the well protected greens with precision.It feels a bit short & cramped to start with & a small brook protects a handful of the greens early on. However from the 5th onwards it starts to lengthen & open out & turns in to a good parkland course.
The greens & bunkers were superb, as good as anywhere for this time of year.
The welcome was excellent, every member said hello & a few even showed interest in me asking where I was from & if I'd enjoyed the course.
All in all a decent experience & a course I'd definitely like to re-visit in the summer.

Played on 12th May.
Best course I’ve played this year and I’ve played 12 courses so far. Greens in excellent condition. Nice variety of holes. It’s a course you need to think about shot selection with strategic water in places.
I came with a society and had full breakfast which was great. I’ll be back. Great course

Highly Recommended
From Stuart, the Club Pro, to the sausage and egg toastie, West Derby was fantastic. The course is fantastically maintained with lush, tree-lined fairways and freshly cut greens making it a pleasure to play. A flat and relatively short course, the small greens are well protected by strategically placed trees and bunkers, making your approach shots a real challenge. Well worth a visit.Reviewer Rating

Nice little parkland course, which is currently under renovation.
As a result, there’s some temp tees and new greens.
Give it 12 months as you can see what is planned.
