We will be back!
Just returned from an excellent mid-week 1 night stay Golf Break at the Weald. Would have scored a 10 however, due to the wet conditions we were unable to use our trolleys. The staff were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent value for money.Reviewer Rating

Very dry
Course was suffering due to the prolonged spell of hot weather. Cracks everywhere in the semi/ rough, some large enough to swallow your ball. Ground staff appear to be doing their best, but this summer isn't doing courses any favours. Overall an interesting course although fairly short. Would like to try again under better conditions as, although there was a lot of run, unless you hit the ball correctly, the chances of topping the ball when bouncing of the surface was high.Reviewer Rating

Brilliant as always
Cannot recommend this course enough - course is challenging enough for my society. However the hospitality and service from the catering to the Pro shop was brilliant. Being a small society they accommodated all our needs, as numbers reduced (I always update as soon as I know) to the catering for a non-player, to working the price for someone who had to leave early. Made my day as the organiser that much easier. Just wish my golf was betterReviewer Rating

Tough course to play if never played before. Due to the weather, the fairways were very hard with a lot of roll. Greens were in excellent condition. Very well maintained.

Well maintained course
This is a very pleasant course to play. The greens were in immaculate condition. The front nine is significantly harder than he back nine which is roughly 500 yards shorter. Although the fairways are quite wide many of them have either water channels across them or running alongside them. There are three or four holes with lakes to avoid. Strangely the scorecard does not show a map of the course but there are 'next tee' signs at all of the greens to assist your navigation. I will definitely play this course again.Reviewer Rating

Pleasant to play. A relatively short course with a lot of straight, flat, generous fairways. Generally well maintained though the greens were a bit slow. Not a lot of variety. Not a lot of trouble to be found - except the ditches that run across half the fairways, and which are not shown on the card nor on any signage at the tees, and are not always visible. Nice 19th.
