What the club says: Hailed as one of the finest recently-built golf courses in England, Chart Hills is the British architectural debut of six times Major winner, Nick Faldo. Set on 200 acres of gently undulating Kentish hills, Chart Hills was officially opened for play in August 1993 and despite its relative youth in golfing terms has earned something of a reputation when it comes to hosting championship golf.

I played here as part of the winter offer of breakfast and a round of golf for £45. Excellent value as the breakfast was good and the course very enjoyable.
The course is a very interesting one with a lot of deliberation over how to play many of the holes. Its a course that I think you need to play a couple times to really work out how to tackle with options of safe and attack.
The Greens were running very true and very fast for any time of year and enjoyed putting on them. The only negative I do have is one that has been mentioned and that is that of the bunkers. There are too many of them to be maintained to an adequate status and many of them were GUR. Its a shame and it would be better to cut down on the number and raise the quality of the ones that they do have. However the course was a great challenge and will certainly be back. - Mar 29 2016

Amazing course, soo many bunkers but it provided a chance to put your course management to the test..

This is a first class facility on the up. The course is set over a large expanse of beautiful countryside and offers a challenging yet very fair round for pros and high handicappers, with various tees making the course a different experience for both. A lot of work has been carried out recently on improving bunkers and fairways and the course seems to be getting better every week. Recommended highly.
Undergoing refurbishment of course, still working on some bunkers but did not affect play, greens were rolling well and played true, practice facilitys and club house were superb and would play again. Although there is a lot of bunkers if you play sensitivley you can avoid them, well worth a visit and found the staff very good.

Beautiful course in superb setting. A lot of maintenance work going on the course. Most bunkers are being upgraded and out of play today. However, the course was very challenging and very enjoyable

I love Chart Hills, not only is it a lovely course to play but it has some absolutely fantastic views of the Kent country side. I highly recommend playing after 3:30pm in the Summer as the twilight rates are great and the course is fairly empty.

Course could be very good lots of work being done to the bunkers so had 3 temporary greens. Was not made aware of this attending the course. Still an enjoyable experience
Know this club very well currently undergoing bunker work, great course layout
(Round played: Apr 2017 - Score: 76 Handicap: 11.7)
Sadly there were still 3 temporary greens and 1 hole closed completely all of which devalued the whole experience.
