What the club says: Heritage Course

International Course
Home of the 2014 Volvo World Match Championship, this course is undoubtedly one of the finest downland courses in Europe. Fast, undulating fairways allow you to chase the ball into position. The course is punctuated with exciting risk and reward tee shots over water that really get the heart pumping. The International recently played host to Regional Open Qualifying and Stage 1 of European Tour Qualifying School.

Top Class!
Top class championship course!The London Golf Club has 2 championship courses which have the hallmarks of a Jack Nicklaus course...A myriad of deep bunkers with high quality sand, pristine, wide fairways and lighting fast and true green.

Tough but great
Beautiful - tees were in great condition, the greens were perfect (but fast) and the best fairways I've played. Best compliment is reserved for the bunkers, consistent, good sand, just a shame where they were as they caught us a plenty. International has, in my opinion, the hardest set of par 3's - some long carries over water - a real test. A great day and hope to return.Reviewer Rating

In good condition
A bit of a wind and I did not give it justice. Was in very good condition. Stimp at 10.8 and putted well in practice. Shame it took me so long to get to some of the greens (if at all)Reviewer Rating

Great Venue
It's May 2025 and every course I've played of late is suffering where we haven't had rain for 6 or 7 weeks. Not the London Golf Club. The conditions were great and the fairways like carpet. I really enjoyed my visit and can't wait to play here again when I can afford it.Reviewer Rating

Beautiful Course
A lovely course, in fantastic condition, as you would expect from the reputation (and cost!). Some stunning views from the higher parts of the course and two daunting par 3s over water. Greens and fairways in immaculate condition.Very friendly and efficient staff on the course and in the clubhouse.

Winter wonderful course
I played The International Course at London Golf Club on the 3rd of January 2025.The course was in pristine condition! Even though the fairways were a bit wet, there was no buildup of mud on my trolley wheels. The bunkers were still slightly crusty due to not having thawed out from freezing temperatures earlier in the day.
The greens were running smooth and true

Wonderful course in excellent condition weather 1 day before heavy rain and wind for 2 days but fairways and greens were fantastic. Staff were all very helpful lovely food and drink excellent service.

Was lucky enough to play the heritage course and I've got to say it was an absolute pleasure to play. Good mixture of holes and difficulty to test all level of golfers. Every hole is memorable and was lucky to catch it on a day that wasn't raining which made the day even better. All staff from starter to women in car park hut were lovely and couldn't make us feel anymore welcome if they tried!.

Should be on everyone's bucket list.
Classy place, great courses.Courses are superb layouts and a great challenge. That said the variety of tee boxes available gives everyone a chance. Practice areas are to die for they're huge and very well maintained. It's held European tour events and Senior's tour events in the past and the qualities that got it those events have been maintained. Which you can't always say for other courses once the circus has left town. It is expensive, but it is also quality of the highest order.

Immaculate course in outstanding setting
The London Golf Club has a reputation as being one of the top courses in the country and this first visit there confirms it in my opinion. A beautiful setting in fantastic countryside, and the condition of the course was simply perfect. (The only tiny little flaw is the traffic noise from the nearby motorway on some holes.)All the staff were friendly and helpful without the "stuck up" feel that some other elite clubs have to them.
Free range balls (proper balls) on the grass driving range, and two large practice greens - the greens are all very fast.
It's not cheap though! As a once-a-year treat it justifies the cost.

This is an exceptional course and considering recent weather is in very good condition. The greens are superb and will catch out unprepared golfers. Definitely use the practice green first they are ridiculously fast if you're used to average courses. Disappointed no hot food at halfway house? Brilliant practice facilities and some excellent ?wow? factor holes.
