Friendly people but I found the course design to be rather prosaic. Several of the holes look very similar - especially from the T's. The fairways are ok and some of the greens are actually quite good. My buddy really likes it here but personally I'm not that inspired, or maybe its just that I played badly on the day. At £20 from tofftimes the value was fair Played 4-10 Score 105 Hcap 27.5

The course itself has a nice layout and was recommended to me by a local shop owner. As a beginner, I found the course very unforgiving, even though I managed to get my first ever par. The fairways were wide, however the rough was very long, particularly when a poorly hit tee shot goes amongst the trees, which made it impossible to recover. The biggest disappointment however was the standard of the greens - the 9th and 18th were (unsurpisingly) in decent condition, however all of the others were what can only be described as a 'beach', with copious amounts of sand over them making putts about as quick as they would be if you were in a bunker. If they can sort the greens out and cut the long rough down from 2ft tall to even just a few inches, it would improve immeasurably.

I have played this course about 5-6 times and generally it has been good. However they need to keep up the maintenance - the grass in dire need of attention, the fairways and rough blend into each other and the leaves have not been cleared in almost a month which makes it near impossible to find a mis-hit ball. The atmosphere is very friendly and the club house is adequate, but again it is so frustrating to see that they have not cleared leaves or maintained the fairways and rough!. This is a great spring and summer course. But stay away during the winter!!.

the course was in very poor codition, the teeing area had not been cut right down, the fairways blended into the rough

Reasonable price to play and pretty well managed. Greens were a little erratic, but more than good enough for a day out.

A fairly long course with an array of hazards. The course is relatively flat and is kept in reasonable condition. Most of the greens are in good condition, but the tee boxes can dry out and be a bit barren in hot weather.
