Worth playing, nice layout and great staff
Waterstock is well worth playing. It's easy to get to with a nice layout.Greens are large with nice shape, most rolled well.
They are plenty of trees, penalty areas and bunkers to trap a wayward shot.
Tees weren't very good unfortunately and some areas were very muddy.
The clubhouse isn't the greatest but we were made very welcome by the staff and food/drink was very good.
I would play again for sure.

Sandy tee boxes
The fairways and greens were in good condition, especially after the recent rain. Really let down by the tee boxes. Some interesting and challenging holes. Conveniently located just off the M40 which is a bonus.Reviewer Rating

Fair course
Lived locally for years but never managed to visit untill recently.Would not say it is a well kept course but lay out is ok..There is a brook that runs right through the course and is not easy to get over.Lots of trees and bunkers as well to keep you in check.Ignore the water in waterstock as there ain't any other than the brook/ditch.Tee boxes are awful and greens not the best but it's good value if you can get on at reduced price.Reviewer Rating

Good course
As a beginner golfer course was challenging but there was good opportunities to score well on some of the holes, only downside play was very slow on the course, however overall a very enjoyable round of golfReviewer Rating

A cheap quick round
A nice course design let down a little by the condition of the course, particularly the greens, we must have repaired 4-5 pitch marks per hole!! Could be a really nice course with some investment, but if you want a quick hassle free round you could do much worse.Reviewer Rating

I played there in wintry conditions and it was difficult to differentiate between the fairway and rough. Surprisingly, they also allowed buggys. Given the conditions, they chewed the course up a bit.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The floodlit driving range and putting green were good practice facilities to have on offer.
Would be interested to play again in summer to see the condition then.
