Very very wet, the course should not have been open, hilly course the rain made the green like sponge, they will suffer in the good weather I am sure in the summer the course is great,

Could be great but bad management
The course itself is a good course it’s just let down by poor management. Most courses have 3 cuts of grass this has a fairway then overgrown bush. Where there are hazards like trees the rough around them is unplayable. If they could manage the green keeper and get the course fitting to its £1500 per memberships then this would be a great course. But at present this is like a municipal course being badly looked after. As I say this could be a great course but the lack of groundsmanship is a huge let down. That could also update the driving range balls. After paying £3 for balls half of them where in no condition to use

Ongoing maintenance
The course has an 18 hole course. Good quality and challenging. With a number of well designed course. The front 9 had a temp green and a few matts for tees. So we played the 9 hole associated course. That was a good short challenging course. When the full 18 opens, it will be a very good and imaginative course.
They are doing extensive building work.

Winter has a taken a toll
Tees are very bare, the paths are now very churned up and some fairways are bare. Hopefully this is a temporary winter damage.would wait until mid spring to improve conditionsReviewer Rating

Good course layout but fairways could be in better condition
Very enjoyable round, interesting layout and variety of holes. But a huge number of non-replaced divots on the fairways, not sure if the members are leaving these or if they get a large number of inexperienced visitors, would not normally expect this at a private course.
Did not play the main first 9 as some temporary greens and tees due to construction work going on to improve the course, but the alternative first 9 were a good bunch of holes.
A lot of elevation change, will certainly get you fit.
Very good practice area / range with decent value balls.
Fast greens which were in good condition.
Would like to play again once the work on the course is complete, although expect I would spend a lot of time again replacing other people's divots!

Good Course
If you haven't played the course before you will need a course map as some holes and hazards are difficult to see, local course knowledge is worth at least 5 shots!. What it lacks in length it makes up for with hazards and challenging pin positions.(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 92 Handicap: 14.2)

Good overall
Good looking course, with some interesting holes that make you think about your shots.Early morning start but had to at the first tee for 3 more groups to tee off wasn't the best start. Not sure what was going on.
For ?35 on a Sunday, it's a bit pricey for what you get. Greens were very sandy and bumpy.
I would play again when greens are in better shape
