Amazing course, never disappoints. Great greens and fairways. Wind constantly changing direction, a true test. I would love to play here regularly.

Superb golf course which offers every golfer a chance to enjoy this course. You do not need to be a big hitter to plot your way around and plotting is the best way to make a score.

Truly a great links course which gives you more of a golf challenge than some of the more well know courses close by.
A great variety of holes, teeing positions, constantly affected by the wind blowing in off the Irish Sea with clear views across to North Wales. Dependent upon the wind the bunkers from the tees will either be in play or even with your sunday best impossible to reach.

Wallasey is a great test of golf, no doubt about that, no wonder Dr.Stableford invented a new scoring system on the 2nd tee, it's easy to run up big scores on individual holes. Playing in and out of the dunes, it offers a great mix of shot-making and demands a lot from your golf game. I find it a fascinating course from a driving point of view, if you have your A game and can aim down the correct side of the fairway, you can get a real bonus from the bumps and hollows. It's a great place to come if you are looking to pull together a trip to play Royal Liverpool (Hoylake) aswell, you'll get a pair of magnificent golfing experiences

Club with a real sense of history - a classic traditional links with a great atmosphere on and off the course.
We played as usual with a constant, stiff breeze, but the tees, fairways, greens and bunkers are in great condition. the staff in the clubhouse were very friendly and welcoming. A treat to visit.

The course is in wonderful condition. Greens a tad slow. Areas around the greens are well defined with run off areas, which I find good. Clubhouse could do with a refurb, but is very friendly and welcoming.
