Played here twice now as a guest and I absolutely love the Wirral peninsula and it certainly has a strong links set up with the wind coming in off the estuary

Wonderful golf course
Great co diction especially for the time of year.Greens were very consistent.

The course is in wonderful condition. Greens a tad slow. Areas around the greens are well defined with run off areas, which I find good. Clubhouse could do with a refurb, but is very friendly and welcoming.

Course playing well on good sandy base. Tricky holes and very tight in places but a superb test for both low and high handicappers.

The course is outstanding and you will struggle to find better quality greens anywhere. Very tough in bad weather. Changing rooms seem dated.

Wallasey in early March
Course and greens especially in an amazing condition considering how much rain we have had this Winter. You can really see the changes to pathways and run off areas have bedded in and look fantastic. PS the flagsticks and tee markers are a very classy touch.Reviewer Rating
