Considering we're well into Autumn, the course was in lovely condition, and a pleasure to play, as it always is. Worth the 70 miles drive!

A lovely parkland course in a magnificent setting. The greens were in great condition. Very naughty par 3 to finish with a wicked sloping green.

Good course will play again but heavily worked on greens on all 18 holes, will look good in a month or so.

Great members and fantastic course. Recently became a member and felt very welcome. Green staff work hard every day and do a fantastic course. Great practice facilities aswell!

amazing course an setting . first class a big thanks to greenkeepers an staff to get course in this shape after all rain we have beggars belief . i thought you play links to get a proper game in jan . go an see for yourself £25 fri 10.30 tee

Played the Senior Open yesterday - course in great condition both fairways and greens. Scoring was high even in rain and gusty wind which suggests course is not particularly demanding. Overall a must visit venue - best value is in one of their numerous opens. Shower re-furb very welcome and food was good quality and reasonably priced.

Brilliant course nestling within the "Vale" as the name implies.
Relatively flat course but don't underestimate it's layout, tight fairways and hazards abound.
receptive greens and they run true and pretty quick, clubhouse is warming, friendly and pleasant, good choice of food and prices are good value.
