A real challenge
water hazards, trees, ditches, long rough, excellently prepared course, but very tough(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 111 Handicap: 25.9)

Nice course
Like the new layout. The real test on this course are the greens. No overly tough holes but the par 3 ninth is a brute at nearly 200 yards today.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 13.9)

Great course little course with good facilities

Much improved
Addition of 2 new opening holes 2017, fully open March 2018 add's a lot to the layout.Course very wet today, lucky to be open after 21mm of rain Friday night, hopefully April onwards should be bad to top condition from 2017.
Greens sloppy and quick, a round without a 3 putt and you've done well :-)

A Little Over Priced
Went on a Friday afternoon and paid ?28. Thought this was a little expensive seen as the first 2 holes are under construction. The 2nd was barely worth playing. Off a mat to a temporary green of approximately 100 yards. The front 9 holes, where a little boring but the back 9 was much better. Feel the course is a little over priced, compared to others in the area.Reviewer Rating

New layout open for Anniversary week in October
2 new holes full year on temp green, new greens look amazing and open for the anniversary week early October and I believe shut again till the new season April 2018.Green staff do a great job, friendly pro's and course ever improving, some serious slopes on the greens, bring your putting A game :-)

Good day of golf

Nice condition - but my goodness these are some of the toughest greens to putt on. no gimmies here. some tough fast slopes(Round played: Mar 2017 - Score: 85 Handicap: 14.4)

Work on the new first 2 holes continues, new par 4 and par 3. Greens excellent for time of year, Full tee's and three temp green par 3 9th (15th currently while they slot 2 holes in to compensate for new holes) 7th par 5 is currently split in 2 and 18th is also.
Still worth a visit :-)

Considering the scale of redevelopment underway it would be easy to say the sting has been taken out by losing the hardest opening hole in the midlands out and the 18th too - 2 very fine par 5s. but still a nice course. the greens are some of the toughest - akin to Augusta having to put sideways sometimes - and even with the weather are still really fast. Really enjoy this course even though it is shortened there are some still some cunning holes to contend with. and at £15 a round that's a pretty good knock!
