Good course poor management of speed of play
I have played this course a few times. It isn't the longest but it requires correct placing. The greens are usually excellent and fast. Sadly pace of play is ridiculous. Last and final round because of this spent at least 10 minutes on the tee waiting for 16 holes for slow players ahead. Sadly as stated a regular issue which is why I won't use againReviewer Rating

played in a gents open and took 5 hours as incredibly a group of tee times were reserved for non open day visitors who were so slow. good start and great finish to course but the first hole is beingh sold for housing so the course will be much poorer. also greens soooo slopy, Play once and leave it at that

Standard winter golf
A bitterly cold start to the 1045 tee time, and also the low Winter Sun was especially challenging on the first couple of holes and also the closing couple of holes. I was there as part of our works golf Society so we were more interested in having banter with each other and caring about the quality of the course. Having said that if he stayed on the fairway it was a pleasure. It's been quite a few years since I've played the course and a few alterations have made it a bit easier in my opinion. What I was really impressed with was the new short game area that they are working on at the moment (not sure when this will be finished) everybody that I came across was very friendly and helpful. It's nice to have a Marshall on the first tea to show you where to goReviewer Rating

Very tricky pin positions
The course was in great condition and the layout was also excellent. The big disappointment was the pin positioning on very tricky slopey greens almost making holing out a lucky dip. Very welcoming staff and a good shop. Good value for money and excellent food overall made a good visit. Would visit again but not too soon.Reviewer Rating

Slightly overpriced

Tough Greens
Nice course with some interesting holes. Quite a few short par 4's however the greens are pretty well protected by hazards. Greens were lightning quick after a dry spell and as the majority are sloping greens putting was the key.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 95 Handicap: 18)

Much improved
Addition of 2 new opening holes 2017, fully open March 2018 add's a lot to the layout.Course very wet today, lucky to be open after 21mm of rain Friday night, hopefully April onwards should be bad to top condition from 2017.
Greens sloppy and quick, a round without a 3 putt and you've done well :-)

A Little Over Priced
Went on a Friday afternoon and paid ?28. Thought this was a little expensive seen as the first 2 holes are under construction. The 2nd was barely worth playing. Off a mat to a temporary green of approximately 100 yards. The front 9 holes, where a little boring but the back 9 was much better. Feel the course is a little over priced, compared to others in the area.Reviewer Rating

Interesting enough course without being harsh on a mid handicapper. Some 150 yard markers would be helpful though.
