Always a fun course. Not so great with the course remodelling happening at the moment. Feels a bit all over the place but still a decent course to play in north London.

The course represents a good test, with many changes of elevation, elevated greens and some narrow fairways. None of the holes is particularly remarkable, but all in all it is a decent layout.
Expect a five hours game on weekend mornings as the course is extremely busy being a public course; there's a marshall going around, but it's just too crowded.
At the time of writing the big let down is the lack of maintenance; the rough is way too high, and you'll end up losing balls that land just 5 yards outside the fairway; the grass is also too high on greens, that are slow and very bumpy.
It would be unfair to give a negative rating at this time, since most of the affordable courses have periods during the year when they aren't in great shape; I'll certainly come back and try again in a few weeks.

Not bad - a bit too expensive, some muddy grass, very slow play from other players.

Not a bad course, however very regularly you get players that don't understand that slow play kills and don't offer the opportunity to play through you almost have to force it. Can be very frustrating

Very wet, which is to be expected at this time of year. Need to give it a second chance in summer months.

Course itself was OK, but the worst course I've ever played in terms of waiting around.

By the 16th hole there were THREE groups waiting on the tee.

It's probably the lowest green fees in the area which probably explains why.

Still the course I get my lowest scores on BUT the greens at the slowest I have ever played anywhere on an 18 hole course.

The green fee is £27 at weekend, but they do have much better mid-week rates. The fairways are in decent condition, the greens are bumpy after the recent hollow tyne work. The layout is interesting with some good strong par 4's and interesting par 3's. The par 5's are rather straight-forward though. The associated facilities could do with some cleaning, tidying and probably redecoration.

Tees always have their markers thrown to one side in the morning, so if you are a society don't bother with an am game as you won't know where to tee off from. Under staffed which means you give way to the green keeper and not the other way around. The staff themselves are excellent but, as previously stated, there just aren't enough of them. Bunkers are very inconsistent. Club house is appalling, drab, tired and no sky tv, soon to be taken over we hear, hope so.

Nice course that is spoilt a bit by public players lacking course etiquette - pitch marks not repaired, slow play and litter. Shame really because the course is good. Club facilities would benefit from a refurb.
