What the club says: Picturesque yet challenging 6,154 yard parkland course established in 1893. With Salmons Brook meandering through it, the course provides a good test for all golfers. Whilst a few changes have been made over the years, the course essentially retains its original character.

Always a pleasurable round
Back again. Several bunkers GUR, greens recently aerated. Tees good. Fairways softer with all the recent rain. Overall still very enjoyable & the lay out is is always a good challenge.Reviewer Rating

New rates & a wonderful atmosphere
We went back for the first time in over 2 years & found the course playing really well given the recent hard frosts & rain. All greens were in use & mostly mats for tees but this worked well. I have to say the pro shop are just so nice & friendly couldn't do enough. We therefore decided to have drinks in the clubhouse which had a great atmosphere & the captain even came to speak with us. All very nice & faultless.Reviewer Rating

A Must Visit
A well maintained and challenging course. If you like doglegs, OOB, slick greens and speedy fairways, you need to give this course try. Not forgetting Martin in the Pro shop, Nadia and the hospitality staff for looking after us on a GGS competition day.Reviewer Rating

Poor
The tittle says it all.£45 for poor fairways poor greens and average tee boxes. They have increased the prices from £26 since COVID and in my opinion they are taking a liberty. On the plus side they have refurbished the clubhouse and are working on some of the bunkers but if I was a member and paying membership I would be very upset.I will not be playing at Enfiel in the foreseeable futureReviewer Rating

Great course, incredible clubhouse
This is a challenging course with trees bordering many of the fairways on both sides. Great tee boxes, many of them elevated allowing to really open your shoulders. The Brook has to be crossed 6 times during a round so expect to lose a ball or two. Greens are immaculate. Its when you enter the clubhouse the level goes up. New decor and furnishings, powerful showers, great terrace. A great place to spend the day.Reviewer Rating

Great course and a great welcome
Highly recommended for a society day, really welcoming staff and an excellent parkland course - not long, but with plenty of interest and challenging features. The greens were immaculate.Reviewer Rating
