Poor
The tittle says it all.£45 for poor fairways poor greens and average tee boxes.They have increased the prices from £26 since COVID and in my opinion they are taking a liberty.On the plus side they have refurbished the clubhouse and are working on some of the bunkers but if I was a member and paying membership I would be very upset.I will not be playing at Enfiel in the foreseeable futureReviewer Rating

Course generally in very poor state with numerous temporary tees and pins. Basically not a pleasant experience.More like playing at a poorly maintained municiple course.

Disappointed is the word. I got there at 8 am on Monday 16 April and the restaurant did not open until 09:30 because the club is still operating winter hours. No coffee. Pro Shop closed and toilets locked. In an empty car park I parked my car (no reserved signs) only to be told from a member who I can only imagine is a relic from a byegone era that "You can't park there". I was against a fence and he was parked in the middle of the car park - WHAT????
This place stinks!!!
The course isn't too bad and is in reasonable condition. Mind you there are a few blind holes on sloping fairways so be warned - you can't see where your ball is going.
In sumary, I drove 68 miles to play there and in my opinion it was a waste of petrol. There's far better and far friendlier places to go that offer far better facilities AND that recognise we are are now in the 21st century. Nuff said.

Great Course but still not back to best
Agreeable round & having invited a friend who’d never played there he really enjoyed it. One minus point was that the greens were bobbly & very very slow. The fairways too still hadn’t recovered any pace yet from the ravages of such a wet winter. Will set the alarm to try again in May.Reviewer Rating

Enfield in the wet conditions
The course is undergoing work and so there were a few tee mats in play. But, great hospitality.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 90 Handicap: 12.5)

Played on a voucher which was good value, quick round as the course almost empty, good condition, greens recently hollow tined, so naturally a bit bumpy too late for food in the clubhouse, but overall enjoyed the experience.

Enfield
Good variation in holes, hilly on the back 9. Fairly well kept course, greens were ok for the beginning of winter. A few fairways were quite soft and muddy, imagine it would be difficult when there is more rain. The clubhouse was very nice and new, looks like recently refurbished, lovely terrace overlooking the 18th. Did not try food though so cannot comment.Reviewer Rating

Worth a visit

Always a pleasurable round

Lush fairways & fine greens. very happy to be back & its playing very well. My partner scored 3 sand saves so bunkers are good too. Great value. Keen to get back & get in before the kitchen shuts next time.

The course layout is very interesting and definitely not easy. The conditions were not bad (the greens were pretty good) considering the bad weather we have had recently and I imagine it will be excellent in the summer. The clubhouse is very nice with lovely food and very friendly staff.

New rates & a wonderful atmosphere
We went back for the first time in over 2 years & found the course playing really well given the recent hard frosts & rain. All greens were in use & mostly mats for tees but this worked well. I have to say the pro shop are just so nice & friendly couldn't do enough. We therefore decided to have drinks in the clubhouse which had a great atmosphere & the captain even came to speak with us. A Must Visit
A well maintained and challenging course. If you like doglegs, OOB, slick greens and speedy fairways, you need to give this course try. Not forgetting Martin in the Pro shop, Nadia and the hospitality staff for looking after us on a GGS competition day.Reviewer Rating

Super friendly pro keen to see we enjoyed the course. Nice warm up area, no full range as it’s a tight acreage. Nines were different in character, back nine shorter and tighter. Reasonably easy walk. Clearly laid out and quite a few memorable/quirky holes. Not too difficult. Very lush as it is one of the few courses with fairway watering, greens particularly good.
It was a tad slow behind a ladies invitation and maybe a bit expensive, but it’s under rated on here. I’d put it in the top 400, the nearby Crews Hill is a better layout but loses out in most other categories.

Hadn't played here for a while. Course was good nick, and greens were most receptive I'd played on for a while which made a nice change. Course was in decent condition given how dry it's been. Good food pre and post round. Worth playing.
