Excellent tight tree lined layout with extremly true, small and sloped greens. Although not long, gave lots of options off tees for how to play each hole and brook comes into play on lots do holes, standouts were 1, 8, 14 and 16. Friendly and welcoming pro plus a good bar setup for CoVid precautions. Best in local area IMOReviewer Rating

This course is superb £20 on mon&thurs and £25 tue-wed-fri (weekends more) such a hidden gem so glad i found it. Tee boxes fairways + greens are very well maintained its not for the beginner golfer as alot of skill is required on most of the holes there quite tight and trouble is always right defiantly a course for the straight hitters (intermediate+) this course for a couple of quid more makes trent park look pathetic its also not very busy either and slow playing golfers its not for you which I love the members and staff were very friendly overall i have to give this course 10/10 don't think I can say a bad word about it my dad and friend also loved it will be coming back again and again!

New rates & a wonderful atmosphere
We went back for the first time in over 2 years & found the course playing really well given the recent hard frosts & rain. All greens were in use & mostly mats for tees but this worked well. I have to say the pro shop are just so nice & friendly couldn't do enough. We therefore decided to have drinks in the clubhouse which had a great atmosphere & the captain even came to speak with us. Great course, incredible clubhouse
This is a challenging course with trees bordering many of the fairways on both sides. Great tee boxes, many of them elevated allowing to really open your shoulders. The Brook has to be crossed 6 times during a round so expect to lose a ball or two. Greens are immaculate. Its when you enter the clubhouse the level goes up. New decor and furnishings, powerful showers, great terrace. A great place to spend the day.Reviewer Rating

Super friendly pro keen to see we enjoyed the course. Nice warm up area, no full range as it’s a tight acreage. Nines were different in character, back nine shorter and tighter. Reasonably easy walk. Clearly laid out and quite a few memorable/quirky holes. Not too difficult. Very lush as it is one of the few courses with fairway watering, greens particularly good.
It was a tad slow behind a ladies invitation and maybe a bit expensive, but it’s under rated on here. I’d put it in the top 400, the nearby Crews Hill is a better layout but loses out in most other categories.

Enfield in the wet conditions

Have played here with a member and love the course. It is a real challenge and very well maintained. Not ideal for beginners. It was good value as a guest, but not sure I'd want to pay full price. Was lovely location of the clubhouse, to si on the balcony and watch the 18th.

Condition of the course is excellent. Local knowledge is very important. Not a course you can just get on a tee and whack a driver. Off centre shots can be a real penalty. The course is fairly tight, greens and fairways are in good condition. The 12th hole is one of the best par 4s in Middx.

Good variation in holes, hilly on the back 9. Fairly well kept course, greens were ok for the beginning of winter. A few fairways were quite soft and muddy, imagine it would be difficult when there is more rain. The clubhouse was very nice and new, looks like recently refurbished, lovely terrace overlooking the 18th. Did not try food though so cannot comment.Reviewer Rating

Worth a visit

Great Course but still not back to best
Agreeable round & having invited a friend who’d never played there he really enjoyed it. One minus point was that the greens were bobbly & very very slow. The fairways too still hadn’t recovered any pace yet from the ravages of such a wet winter. Will set the alarm to try again in May.Reviewer Rating

Always a pleasurable round

Lush fairways & fine greens. very happy to be back & its playing very well. My partner scored 3 sand saves so bunkers are good too. Great value. Keen to get back & get in before the kitchen shuts next time.

The course layout is very interesting and definitely not easy. The conditions were not bad (the greens were pretty good) considering the bad weather we have had recently and I imagine it will be excellent in the summer. The clubhouse is very nice with lovely food and very friendly staff.
