Worst course I've ever played
Don't waste your money playing here. There are no fairways to speak of. So every shot is played out of the rough. The course is waterlogged in places. Bunkers are just compacted sand. Greens are in a dreadful state. The course should be closed if they aren't going to invest some money to make it playable.Reviewer Rating

Geoff
Played here today and came off after the fourth hole. Like other reviews, ankle high grass, greens in a shocking state and pathways worn. Unbelievable. There has been no maintenance at all over the winter and it is as if all the ground staff have been on holiday. I cannot understand how this course is open. It’s completely unplayable. I received a credit including buggy hire and as I am local, I will go back but honestly, can’t see how the course is going to be ready this season.Reviewer Rating

Worst "course" i've ever seen
This was without doubt the worst kept course I've ever seen or played. Ankle high grass in the fair way. Tired unkept greens. It looked like the groundsmen had the previous month off, and yet the staff still charged us £27 without any forewarning when booking online. It was only when the chap in the American Golf store, stated how he couldn't believe it was open. I want my money back. But the staff have only offered to rebook us in for another time. This is of course no use to me, as I'll never be going back!Reviewer Rating

Dereliction Supreme
Like losing every ball you hit, even when drilled down the middle of the fairway? Then look no further. Used to be good, but it's being run into the ground probably to be sold off for housing. £27 to slosh around in a mud pit? Yeah, absolutely had our pants pulled down on this one.Reviewer Rating

Worst ever
I played this course to encourage my son in laws golf - it has done th opposite ! It is in a terrible state . Every aspect of an enjoyable round of golf has gone literally like any ball that lands in the 1st cut - long grass with dead cuttings left to rot . Greens were awful . I felt like a beginner as my scoring was terrible . Will never return even at £12 .Reviewer Rating

The course price at £27 gives the impression it will be worthwhile, instead it’s dreadful. Avoid.

Like a swamp
Played last week sad to say the course was like a bog, unplayable in places should not be open. I think they have ruined it for this year. Won't go back soon very poorReviewer Rating

Rip off driving range
Be careful not to fall fowl of the driving range ball dispensing machine! Despite clicking the correct button, I ended up paying for £6 for 25 balls when wanted to pay £9 for 100 (you have to make sure to change your selection on the card machine too). Apparently because it was my mistake, they would not let me pay £9 for 100 as I originally wanted, so ended up paying £15 for 125. Not a huge amount of money but I have heard from a few friends who have had exact same experience.. basically a cunning plot to get an extra few quid from Trent park!Reviewer Rating

Nice course, but greens were not the best and overall course conditions not great. Especially around greens and tee off areas. Need improved maintenance.Reviewer Rating

Don?t visit when wet
The course does not drain well and ball were being lost on the fairway and around the green because they were plugging. Drainage is appalling which meant very slow pace of play because of frustrated golfers looking for their balls. The green fees in wet months are not justifiable. I will not be playing here again.Reviewer Rating

Very poor conditions, don’t play even free of charge
No fairway, poor green , could not find your golf balls for every shot even hit right in fairway. No point to golf there even free of charge. Save your time . Total disappointment!Reviewer Rating
