Top Meadow Review
Course in best condition I have ever seen. Greens a bit slow but fairways had good grass coverage and the rough acts as a good protection. We played Sunday afternoon but the bar closed before 5.30 we were left as thirsty golfers. Still good value for moneyReviewer Rating

Great value
The greens and bunkers need some work doing to them to bring them up to acceptable condition. Fairways are excellent and some really picturesque holes with far stretching views. Friendly clubhouse, bar and restaurant.Reviewer Rating

My Regular course
Some fairways a bit of a moonscape, leading to some unfair bounces.Strange Indexes on some holes too!
Not happy that some greens have a 'last moment' bobble just before the hole - that is not hat I would call 'borrow'.

hilly for essex
Top Meadow is a lovely course in the summer when the ground is firm. There are several challenging holes and spectacular views from the high points especially the 3rd tee box.Reviewer Rating

Great value..just an observation...
We play Top Meadow as part of our Tuesday Nomadic group, booked two tees and surprisingly got on to a reasonably quiet course. Our two ball followed member golfers who to be honest were very slow.Always great value but this time the course was very long on the fairways and the greens were very bumpy which was disappointing. This is an observation and should not distract from a great course and very friendly team over there. If you can sort the course out a little it would be appreciated.

Always in good condition and friendly staff
A short course with forgiving fairways. Greens are always in good condition as is the whole course. Always a friendly welcome and good value for money. Once they open their kitchens in 6-8 weeks they will attract societies/groups. No practice facilities at all. Not even a putting green thoughReviewer Rating
